Debt financing options are usually referred to as:

• Senior debt -- Usually available only to companies with assets to pledge as collateral
• Mezzanine financing -- A subordinate or "junior" form of debt that fills the gap between equity financing and senior debt loans. Carries a higher interest rate than senior debt because of higher risk to the lender. Often poses a higher operating risk than equity financing.
