About the Principal

David A. Coury

David A. Coury is the principal behind DAC Consulting. He has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of financial and business management concerns, both for high net-worth individuals and for businesses in several industry sectors. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987, David began doing business in financial and estate planning for private clients. Several of these clients owned companies and they began asking him for financial planning advice for their businesses, in addition to the personal concerns.

Mr. Coury expanded the range of services he offered to his clients' businesses to include capital acquisition, crisis management, mergers & acquisitions, and technology implementation. His clients appreciate the thorough planning and attention to detail with which Mr. Coury approaches their unique situations. David has developed methodologies to quickly assess the character and consequences related to an issue. These methodologies include steps that result in action plans that quickly resolve problems and protect his clients.

Mr. Coury is well known for his ability to assemble teams of knowledgeable individuals to carry out action plans on behalf of his clients. He firmly believes that the application of superior expertise produces superior results. During his many years in business, David has built an extensive network of relationships and associations with individuals who are regarded as thought leaders in their respective fields. He relies on this network to help him formulate and implement his action plans. In this way, David becomes the quarterback of the team of expert advisors. He knows how to pick an expert for a particular situation and more importantly, how to manage the handoff of details from one expert to the next.
